Two Ways Region VII Recognizes Excellence
Region VII recognizes outstanding individuals through VPPPA’s national Industry Awards program, honoring safety leadership across the organization. Closer to home, the Region VII Scholarship Program has supported students connected to VPP Full Member sites since 2009 helping the next generation pursue degrees and trade programs with real financial support.

Four Steps To Your Scholarship Application
Real requirements for the Region VII Scholarship open to students connected to Full Member sites.
Confirm Eligibility
Be a full-time employee at a VPPPA Full Member site, or their child, grandchild, stepchild, or step-grandchild, with at least a 2.5 GPA.
Gather Your Documents
Submit the application form, an official transcript, and two reference letters one academic or professional, one from the relative at the VPP site.
Submit Your Essay & Bio
Include an essay on why you qualify and a typed biography or current resume, both under two pages.
Apply Before The Deadline
Applications close August 31, 2026. Winners are announced October 21, 2026 at the Region VII Conference in Des Moines.
